Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-0508 Mat’s got his hands on the updated Golf GTI! The team flew over to Germany to put the new GTI through its paces and to also find out what’s changed compared to the previous edition. The question is, can it compete with class leaders like the Audi S3 and AMG A35? For starters, let’s check out the design. Up front, there’s an aggressive lower bumper compared to the standard car, and there’s also a new light design that includes an illuminated VW badge and a DRL light strip across the width of the car. Along the side, you’ll find upgraded brakes with red brake callipers, and around the back, there are redesigned taillights, a small roof spoiler, and an updated bumper. As with any GTI, there are also twin exhaust pipes. Step inside and there are a handful of upgrades over the standard Golf. There are the traditional GTI tartan seats and a GTI steering wheel. The touch-sensitive buttons on the steering wheel have been replaced by physical buttons and there's also a set of stainless steel pedals. Otherwise, it’s the same as the normal Golf, which means there’s a large infotainment screen on the dash as well as a customisable digital dial display. One big change over the previous GTI edition is the performance! It may still have the same 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, but the power output has now increased from 245hp to 265hp! The torque figure has remained the same at 370Nm. The starting price for the GTI is around £39,000. But are you better off waiting for the upcoming Clubsport edition, which will only cost around £41,000? Or better yet, should you wait for the upcoming Golf R, which will only cost around £4,000 more?! You’ll need to stick with Mat and find out for yourself! Chapters

600hp GR Yaris v Lambo Aventador SV: DRAG RACE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEkOlvMCfo8

Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-0308 Here’s a match-up you didn’t know you needed… Until today! We’ve got Yianni lining up in a Lamborghini Aventador SV, and he’s about to go head-to-head against Mat in a ridiculous 600hp Toyota GR Yaris! So let’s take a closer look at this ludicrous Yaris. It rolls up with a fully built 1.6-litre 3-cylinder turbo engine that produces a ridiculous 630hp and 430Nm of torque. This power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed sequential manual gearbox, and almost every aspect of the car has been modded and upgraded! It doesn’t come cheap though – all in it costs an eye-watering £130,000! Then we come to the Lambo. It’s powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 that delivers 750hp and 690Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed automatic gearbox, and as new it costs around £238,000. So the Lambo’s up on power, but can this little pocket rocket snatch the victory? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

725hp Ferrari SUV: £400k Purosangue Review

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49uFyL5yFMc

Sell your car for free with Carwow: https://bit.ly/Sell-Your-Car-For-Free-0108 This is the Ferrari Purosangue! It’s Ferrari’s first SUV (even though they don’t officially call it an SUV), and Mat’s about to find out if it can compete with class-leading performance SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX and Bentley Bentayga! When it comes to the design, it looks like a pretty imposing piece of kit. Up front, the slim DRLs sit separate from the main headlamps, and there are several vents which all serve a real purpose. Along the side, you’ll find even more vents, and if anything we think the side profile makes the Purosangue look more like a long hatchback than a proper SUV! Around the back, there are several intricate designs, even more vents, and a glorious set of quad tailpipes. Step inside and the Purosangue is a seriously nice place to be. The driver has a huge digital dial screen, and there’s even a separate screen on the dash for the passenger! The digital dial screen works like an infotainment screen for the driver, although the fact that it’s all controlled through touch-sensitive buttons is a bit annoying. The minimalist button design on the centre console is a nice touch, and back seat passengers are also treated to the same figure-hugging sports seats as found in the front. There’s only one engine to choose from, but it’s a beauty – a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 that delivers 725hp and 716Nm! What’s more, it’s the only SUV in the world that comes with a V12 as standard! But of course, it’s a Ferrari, so it doesn’t come cheap. The price starts at around £313,000, but the car we have here (which has had a load of options added) costs an eye-watering £430,000!! So is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself! Chapters
