I drove the BEST off-roader in the WORLD!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oh_nnWBxZA

This is the SHERP N 1200, and it just might be the craziest, most hardcore off-world car in the world! Now based on performance stats alone, you may not think the SHERP sounds that impressive. After all, it’s powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that can produce 55hp and 190Nm of torque. In terms of weight, it also comes in at around 2,200kg. However, don’t let the stats deceive you – the SHERP can handle even the hardest of off-road terrains… So of course, Mat’s going to put it to the test! We’ve lined up a series of four challenges for Mat to put the SHERP through. It’ll start off with a muddy trail with deep ruts, followed by driving over a field that’s covered in logs and tree stumps. Following that it’ll be put to the test on a lake where it can FLOAT on water, and finally it’ll drive up a hill covered in boulders! The ability of this vehicle has to be seen to be believed! The only question is, will Mat break it?! You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself!

New BMW 5 Series & 600hp i5 REVEALED!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSDBxLUeb2s

Meet the brand New BMW 5 Series & BMW i5! This is the first 5 Series that’s been designed to come with an internal combustion engine as well as a pure electric car, so let’s find out everything you need to know about these all-new cars! Starting with the design, there’s very little difference between petrol-powered and electric cars. Both cars come with a wide double-kidney grille, and they’re available with traditional vertical bar designs or in all-black for M Sport trim levels. Along the side, you’ll find flush door handles and creases across the doors that seem pretty reminiscent of the E-Class, while at the back there’s a whole load of black trim across the rear bumper, and the brake lights come in an all-new design. Step inside and the new 5 Series reminds us of the 7 Series! There’s a huge widescreen infotainment system on the dash, which you can even use to connect to your Amazon Alexa account! The dashboard is available to be styled in aluminium, carbon fibre or wood trim, as well as an optional panoramic glass roof! All in all, the interior of the 5 Series and i5 is super smart! Then we come to the choice of engines. For those wanting to stick with an internal combustion engine, there’s not a whole lot of choice at the moment, with just one petrol engine available – the mild-hybrid 520i comes with a 2-litre 4 cylinder engine and an electric motor which combine to produce 208hp and 330Nm. Plug-in hybrid cars are also on the horizon, but won’t be released until 2024. However, for those choosing the i5, there are two options available, with the range-topper being the i5 M60. This comes with two electric motors which combine to produce 601hp – just 24hp less than an M5 Competition! What’s more, it also produces an immense 820Nm – 70Nm more than the M5! When it comes to the price, the petrol-powered 5 Series starts from just under £50,000, while the i5 starts from £73,200, rising all the way up to £97,000 for the i5 M60! So is it worth it? You’ll need to keep watching to see for yourself! Chapters

New Volvo XC60: You won’t believe what’s changed inside!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4MYseY9rOk

This is the Volvo XC60, and Mat’s about to find out if it’s as good in 2023 as it was when it was first released in 2017! Well for starters, let’s take a look at the design. If we’re being honest, it hasn’t changed all that much from the original 2017 edition… But that’s not necessarily a bad thing! It’s got a good-looking, well proportioned side profile, and certain areas come with smart looking chrome trim, such as around the grille at the front. There is the option to swap this for black trim, but we’d definitely choose to keep the chrome! Take a step inside and it’s a similar story with the design of the outside – it’s all pretty similar to how it was back in 2017. The portrait style infotainment system remains, although we’re not the biggest fan of it, given all controls are managed via the touchscreen. Thankfully though it’s surrounded by soft touch materials throughout the cabin, apart from the odd bit of scratchy plastic dotted around. The latest version of the XC60 also comes with a full digital dial drivers display! There are a number of engines to choose from. There’s a 2-litre diesel with 197hp, or a 2-litre turbo petrol with 250hp. There are also two plug-in hybrid editions that make use of the 2-litre turbo petrol, with the range-topper delivering 455hp. Each comes with a 14kWh battery pack and the ability to drive on electric power alone for up to 43 miles. When it comes to the price, an entry-level XC60 starts from just under £48,000, rising all the way up to around £68,000! So given the design has hardly changed in the last few years, is it really worth it? Or should you go for something like a Mercedes GLC or Audi Q5 instead? Let us know in the COMMENTS! Chapters
