Paddy McGuinness Vs Aston Martin Victor | Top Gear Shorts

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cw9lLGguuik

From series 31, Much to the dismay of the other presenters, Paddy was lucky enough to test out the Aston Martin Victor, This is not a slightly uprated version of the Vulcan’s V12. The Victor uses the One-77s production-sourced 7.3-litre V12, but this one has been back to Cosworth for extra fettling. I dread to think of the cost implications of liberating an extra 86bhp and 60lb ft from a single engine, but it does mean that any One-77 owners out there might be able to send their cars back for the same uplift. It transforms the engine. Aston doesn’t mention performance figures, but numbers are not what this car is about. It’s safe to say performance is plentiful. FIRST LOOK: Rolls-Royce Spectre – World’s Most Luxurious EV? | Top Gear

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXPIHqjH-H8

There can hardly be a more suitable drive for a Rolls-Royce than electric motors. CS Rolls himself said it in 1900: “The electric car is perfectly noiseless and clean. There is no smell or vibration.” Although, presciently, he did add that he had infrastructure concerns. After 120 years of trying, no petrol Rolls-Royce has a powertrain as smooth or silent or responsive as that of a 2011 Nissan Leaf. Or perhaps more relevant, a 2015 Tesla Model X – a powerful, heavy car that goes a long way and charges fast. But this is changing: in a year’s time, this rather fabulous all-electric Spectre will land with its first customers. And here it is: the 5-metre long, 2-metre wide coupe sitting on 23-inch wheels. Yup, it's enormous, but the Spectre boasts an impressive drag coefficient of 0.25. For context, that's the same as a Honda Insight, and the reason why Rolls-Royce is promising more than 310 miles of range for this 2.9-tonne behemoth. Prices sit somewhere between Cullinan and Phantom which should see the Spectre somewhere north of £300k although that's before you start going wild with your spec. Allow Top Gear magazine's Jack Rix to be your guide to arguably the most luxurious EV money can buy… Chapters:

Morgan Super 3 – 130mph on TWO WHEELS! | Top Gear Speed Week 2022

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gt4cEU28rPw

Forget the whole two-wheel vs four-wheel drive debate… what you want is one-wheel drive. A niche choice outside the world of motorbikes, but there is a car that offers it: the Morgan Super 3. This is the latest in a long line of tripod Morgans that stretches back to the formation of the company in 1910, and despite the retrofuturistic look, it’s arguably the most modern thing ever to come out of the firm’s Malvern factory. They have ditched the 82bhp S&S two-cylinder motorbike engine that was fitted to the previous-gen 3-Wheeler in favour of a 118bhp Ford-sourced 1.5-litre naturally aspirated three-cylinder. Yep, a Fiesta ST engine without the turbo. 0-62mph takes 7s, top speed is 130mph, it weighs a wafer-thin 635kg, and is capable of some interesting 2-wheel manoeuvres with The Stig at the wheel… Allow Top Gear magazine’s Jack Rix to be your guide on Speed Week 2022’s most unique contender… Subscribe to Top Gear for more videos: http://bit.ly/SubscribeToTopGear MORE ABOUT TOP GEAR:

This could be a Batmobile | Ariel Hipercar Top Gear Shorts

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cEYVVMW4Ls

Nope, the spelling isn’t wrong, Ariel is merely using the word differently, a contraction of ‘High-Performance Carbon Reduction’. So 'Hipercar'. Carbon emissions rather than carbon fibre. There’s a lot of the latter, although underneath the chassis is aluminium and most body sections are weighty 3D-printed test panels. It’s 1,759kg as it sits here, but Ariel is confident of dropping that below 1,500kg with full carbon panels and carbon wheels. The jet turbine is a range extender – it exists to charge the 56kWh battery, not drive the wheels. Available as either 2WD or 4WD, with or without the jet turbine, full-house versions are likely to knock on seven figures' doors. That’s a complete sea change for Ariel, for a car without classic hypercar elegance. But this is new tech, new age, new customer base. It’s something totally different, something wild and outrageous, the essence of Ariel in electric form.
